Candlelight Inn, 4 minutes from Bedford, is located in the rolling hills of South Central Indiana.
We are in the heart of limestone country; Bedford is the Limestone Capital of the World and tours
are available. A partial list of buildings constructed of Bedford Limestone include: Empire State
Building, Rockefeller Center, Chicago Museum of Science and Industry, Grand Central Station, the
Pentagon, and the Builtmore.
Outdoor Life magazine listed Bedford as one of the top 200 US cities for hunting and fishing in 2008.
Wildlife abounds. Our location is minutes from White River, Spring Mill State Park, Blue Springs
Cavern, and relatively close to Patoka Lake. Lake Monroe is 25 minutes to the North. We are a
tranquil retreat offering the varied beauty of all four seasons.
Should you wish to venture forth, antiquing is plentiful and just minutes away. Golfing is
available with in a few minutes drive. We are 25 minutes from Indiana University and all that
a university of its distinction offers. French Lick Springs Resort and Casino is a 30 minute
